Who am I outside of this?

 

I’m a first generation Korean American. Jersey girl and twin. Account Manager at a GovTech Startup. The boring stuff.

 

How did I get started?

 

I had my first job for almost 2 years and was struggling to find a startup that would hire me given my corporate background. So I started saving aggressively.. $2,000+ each month for about 5 months and quit my job. Then I booked a flight to Bali amidst the panic of what the fuck am I doing without a job? I came back after a few weeks for my then boyfriend and quickly felt the travel blues. So I booked another flight to the Philippines. Each year since I take 2 weeks off work to go to SE Asia for my birthday.

I also spent 2017 traveling around the states selling artwork for my friend. My then employer allowed me to take every other Friday off to be able to do this!

In my free time when I'm not booking flights, you'll find me around NYC, volunteering at a jail or studying Spanish and Korean.
